Epoxy Adhesives
Epoxy adhesives are preferred throughout the world for high-strength structural bonding of metals, thermoplastics, thermosetting composites, and metal-to-plastic substrates with differing coefficients of thermal expansion. With recent advances in formulating chemistries, today's epoxies also include toughened systems that offer good flexibility for bonding materials such as sheet molding compound, fiberglass-reinforced plastics and substrates that will be subject to vibration. These same toughened epoxies provide for excellent long-term adhesion on joints exposed to environmental extremes. Rudolph Bros. & Co. supplies epoxies with a diverse range of handling and performance characteristics including:
  • One and two-component materials
  • Wide range of viscosities from liquids to pastes
  • Work lives from 9 seconds to two hours
  • Low shrinkage
  • Lap shear strengths in the 2,000 to 4,000 psi range
  • Service temperatures up to 350°F
  • Good resistance to chemicals, oils and solvents

Our epoxy systems have been selected for repair, maintenance and assembly applications in markets ranging from recreation, marine, and automotive to appliances, business equipment and electronic device production.

Our advanced epoxies are also easier to mix and dispense than ever before. Many of the systems we provide are formulated with a 1:1 mix ratio to help minimize the possibility of inaccurate weighing and incomplete mixing and permit packaging in dual-barrel cartridges.
